My Secret Web Marketing Tools

People often ask me what tricks I  have in my marketing hat. These aren't tricks, but rather tools that I rely on day in and day out to easily build various marketing-oriented sites.  Listed below are the resources I rely on.  If you click on the links and check out the services, I think you will be pleasantly surprised about how robust the services are and how inexpensively they are priced.  I spend a great deal of time staying on top of the best resources to use and have put each of these companies to the test by using them in my own businesses.   Enjoy!

If You Are Just Beginning On-Line:

www.SiteSellTrial.com

Ken Evoy’s step-by-step website building service, Site Build It! takes you from your content (book, report, whatever) to finished website. SEO, design, hosting … everything is included. Support is amazing. This is the ONLY one-stop service I recommend wholeheartedly, because of the deep educational experience. If you use this and follow everything, you will learn internet marketing through experience (great for those of you who learn by doing). Ken is really congruent and demonstrates pre-selling techniques better than anyone I know. It may seem expensive at first glance, but it’s not because it’s a whole year, and you can cancel anytime and get a pro-rated refund. For the education, it’s a great value.

www.ShyYes.com

This is a site I built to tell you about Marketing Magic Makeover, a service that builds your own “squeeze page” to build a list for your service or product. Again, it provides step-by-step instructions and tutorials with excellent support. Go check it out.

If You Are Already On-Line and Have Some Savvy and/or Guidance:

www.1and1Sales.com

1and1 is my webhosting service. Every website I own sits on their servers, and all of my email addresses (hundreds) are managed through them. I pay only $6 per year per domain name, through my home and business packages. Their support is 24 hours, and very good. They also provide a limited Microsoft Exchange Server … so that my virtual assistant in CO can see my email inbox (and anyone else’s in the company) … a must for a virtual company.

www.1ShoppingBasket.com

This is my shopping basket service. They provide me with secure online order forms (that I can fully customize), digital product delivery (so that when someone orders something in the middle of the night, they get their product immediately and I don’t have to lift a finger), and they work with PayPal, my merchant account … and more. They have a decent email management system. Their support is responsive.

www.AWeberSales.com

This is the best email management service available, hands down. They have a flexible online user interface and have the best deliverability of any email system. They are sticklers for CAN-SPAM laws and their support is good.

www.CallTelecenter.com

I love this 800 service. My 800 number can be forwarded to any phone I own (or any I don’t) and if they leave a message, I get the audiofile via email. I can set up a complicated phone message chain with Q&A boxes, 5 minute long messages, and unlimited voicemail boxes.

www.BYO-Audio.com

For streaming audio, including telephone testimonials, I use BYO. They are easy to use. You can record your audio via phone or on your computer … it’s a cinch. I use their service on nearly every page of every site. Video too. Oh, and I can also record up to 2 hours of teleconference calls with this service.
