Portrait of Maui for my birthday

Molly commissioned a beautiful portrait of Maui which just
arrived in the mail yesterday. The artist painted it from several
photos that Molly emailed to her.
I am blown away by the likeness and am impressed with all the
details that Molly asked the artist to include (such as my favorite
flower: the bird of paradise and my favorite bird that reminds me of
my beloved puppy: an egret).
The painting is now hanging in my office and is reflected in the mirror
that hangs over my desk so I can see in no matter where I look.
She is sort of sitting over my shoulder and so when I look up
from my computer, I see her smiling face. I am so thrilled.

me these past few months. :)
